PNW Veg does the RVA! My pals at Fountain Bookstore and Camden's Dogtown Market are hosting me for a dinner and talk. The menu, featuring many dishes from the book:

- Smoky Carrot and Sweet Potato Soup (paired with a higher acid, mildly oaked Chardonnay)
- Chicken Fried Tofu with Roasted Nightshade Salad And Barbecue Braised Collards and Chickpeas (from local tofu house, Twin Oaks)(paired with Barnard Griffin, WA Rose of Sangiovese)
- Parsnip-Apple Cake (with black twig apples from Chef Andy's tree!) (paired with War & Rust Quinquina...local spicy aperitif that actually goes great with coffee)
